World Wrapps began as a community-based, small business and we remain true to that core today. We are active in the communities in which we operate, by giving back to local non-profit organizations, schools, and neighborhood organizations, especially those that promote health and wellness and support our children. World Wrapps restaurants are a fun, hip place to grab a bite to eat on the run, or sit down and enjoy a quality meal. The first World Wrapps was opened in 1996 in San Francisco, CA by a group of friends who wanted a restaurant that didn't yet exist: one that served delicious food that was both better tasting and better for you than traditional "fast-food," yet still fit into their fast-paced on the go lifestyles.

The result – real gourmet "meals" wrapped up in flavorful tortillas that can be eaten anywhere. With the incredible success that soon followed, the founders quickly learned they weren't the only ones looking for exactly this kind of place.
